The Friends of Killbear was formed in 2000 by a group of individuals with a passionate interest in Killbear Provincial Park together with park staff.
Since its beginnings, the Friends of Killbear has taken actions to preserve the natural ecosystems of the Park, while at the same time contribute to visitors' experiences during their stays in the Park.
We are a charitable, not-for-profit organization, working with Killbear Provincial Park to achieve the park goals of protection, education, science and recreation.
The Friends of Killbear is made up of a Volunteer Board of Directors and general members.
Board Members and general members are people just like you. Campers, nearby residents or local cottagers, we all have a love of Killbear in common and a desire to help the park.
